A deep breath, in and out,

A challenge we’ve never faced,

A fear that’s grew in us like venom every time we move

I’m terrified, and you probably are too.

While I’m walking amongst the arch of the square,

I can feel your heartbeat every step I take.

No matter how far away you are,

Or the question of how you’re feeling,

Where you are, or what you’re experiencing.

I’ll always grasp the moon, just to hold your hand.

There’s uncertainty that I don’t know if I can or cannot control our departure,

But I know I’ll still love you no matter what

Even if we face the darkest ends or the sharpest thorns,

I’ll always hold you through all of it.
